Irini has nearly 20 years of experience in the food industry, holding various roles in Research and Innovation. She has been focused on overcoming challenges to achieve long-term innovation goals, with a emphasis on fermentation, proteins, fats, and fibers across the Dairy & Plant-Based and Specialized Nutrition portfolios. Irini holds a background in Food Science and Biotechnology and has furthered her education in Food Production Management at Nottingham University. She joined Danone in 2011, and currently serves as the Research and Innovation Open Innovation Manager. Danone is committed to bringing health through food to as many people as possible.
