Ilan founded Amai Proteins in 2016 after a prestigious academic and entrepreneurial career. He is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv University Interdisciplinary Program for Fostering Excellence where he studied sciences and MBA. After his PhD at Weizmann Institute he postdoc'ed at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Samish then returned to Israel to an academic career. He was a lecturer of Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science at Weizmann, Hebrew University and Braude College. Dr. Samish founded the world's top meeting in Computational Structural Biology and published the main book in Computational Protein Design.
